I've always had a tendency to romanticize things.

The ordinary parts of life that probably don't seem all that important while you're living them. Moments that have so much depth, but we miss in the hurriedness & chaos of life.

& I think that's really what I'm trying to preserve.

Not just what moments looked like, but what it felt like to be inside of it.

Because these are the things that become precious with time. The little pieces of life we didn't realize we would miss -

the way someone held you

the way your children fit against you

the feeling of everyone being together exactly as they were in that season

I want to give those moments somewhere to live.
